21st Annual Verde River Days

Verde River Days promotes preservation and care of the environment by showcasing informative exhibits on the Verde River's riparian habitat. Events include hands-on activities, fishing, canoeing, live entertainment, 40-plus nature-based exhibits, sandcastle building, a menagerie of live animals, a climbing wall, canoe rides, nature hikes, as well as continuous entertainment and local food vendors.

More than 300 Students Plumb the Depths of Watersheds and Groundwater
What do you get when you combine a water hauling relay race, a water cycle game, a watershed model and more than 300 Verde Valley 4th graders? The 2010 Make a Splash Water Festival! The Verde Valley will host its 3rd annual Make a Splash Water Festival on Tuesday, October 7th, at Dead Horse Ranch State Park where students and their teachers from throughout the Verde Valley will gather.
